Cardfight!! Vanguard é uma franquia de mídia japonesa criada em colaboração entre Akira Itō, Satoshi Nakamura e o presidente da Bushiroad, Takaaki Kidani. Uma série de anime de televisão foi produzida pela TMS Entertainment e exibida no Japão na TV Tokyo a partir de 8 de janeiro de 2011. Um jogo de cartas oficial da Bushiroad começou a ser lançado no Japão em 26 de fevereiro de 2011, em Cingapura em 5 de maio de 2011 e internacionalmente em 12 de maio de 2011. Uma série de mangá também foi anunciada e começou a ser publicada na revista Kerokero Ace em 26 de março de 2011. Uma segunda temporada para o anime sob o título Cardfight!! Vanguard: Asia Circuit começou a ser exibida em 8 de abril de 2012. A terceira temporada do anime começou a ser exibida em 13 de janeiro de 2013 sob o título Cardfight!! Vanguarda: Link Joker.
